My Coaching Story

 I'm a fully-certified Life Coach helping my clients throughout the South Jersey Tri-State area to achieve their personal and professional goals. The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you to identify the core challenges and setbacks in your life so that you can learn to overcome them with the tools and confidence you need to succeed. I specialize in creating personalized plans and providing tools to guide you forward and achieve your desired goals.

Looking back, I have been in one way or another helping people my entire life, whether through real estate, guiding and educating clients, as Sensei to my Aikido students, offering philosophies of life both on and off the mat, or as a music teacher and retailer, pointing the way and giving good information so people could make the best decisions possible for their future. Before I decided to fully venture into this incredibly rewarding field, I received a call on my cell from an unknown number. It so happens that it was from a customer I knew well from my music retail days who a young teen at the time used to come to my shop, play the guitars, and chat for a while. He seldom purchased anything but was never told to buy something or leave, as this was never my attitude. Instead, we'd talk about life and I'd offer some wisdom and good counsel whenever I could. There was always a lesson to be gleaned from our conversations, aspirin in the orange juice so to speak. Some 20 years later as I was looking to see if this was to be my path in life, I got the call and in the conversation, he told me that those talks helped save his life. They were a lifeline to him as the divorce, and later the death of an addictive parent, along with being bullied in school, had put him in a dark place, and the only light he received was coming to my shop, having our talks, and playing guitar. Never any judgment or pressure, a sanctuary where he was allowed to be and express himself freely. He went on to become a decorated military personnel, a minister, and a father to four wonderful children. Needless to say, I welled up. He said he owed much of it to our conversations, life saving words and ideas. I responded that I may have offered the safe space, an ear, and fatherly advice, but it was that he saw the worth that I recognized in him and took the steps along the path. That day I received the answer to my question. I began to offer Life Coaching as a service.
